If there's one thing wrestling fans can count on every year, it's that when WrestleMania comes around, The Undertaker will win his match - that's how it's been for the past 21 years . . . until now.
On April 6,
The Undertaker walked into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, ready to win again. At 49, The Dead Man - whose real name is
Mark William Calaway walked by 21 caskets, all labeled with the names of the fighters he had beat in the past 21 years of WrestleMania. There was even a 22nd labeled
Brock Lesnar - who he was about to fight. WrestleMania 30: The Undertaker Loses
While WrestleMania 30 was introduced by legends
Hulk Hogan,
Steve Austin and
the Rock, that wasn't even the most shocking part of the night! Take Our Poll
The fight seemed to drag on, but the true fans that filled the Superdome waited for what they thought was the inevitable - another win by The Undertaker.
However, the legendary wrestler used his signature move - a tombstone piledriver early and Brock kicked out of it. The crowd booed Brock, 36, throughout the fight, so when the end came, it went silent.
Brock used his finishing move, an F-5 on The Undertaker. Brock picked him up, threw his legs in front of him to spin out, causing him to fall flat on his face and upper body. Needless to say, in about three seconds the fight was over - and the crowd was shocked. The Superdome went silent in complete shock. Immediately on Twitter, the hashtag "BeastVsStreak" began trending, because, well, the streak was officially over.
Want to see how shocked the fans were? Well, here's a Vine to explain it. Watch below, then let us know if you were happy that the streak was over!
