Sarah Jones, the "Midnight Ride" camera operator who died Feb. 20, received a brief mention at the end of the "In Memorium" segment in the Academy Awards telecast.
Jones wasn't included in the photos segment but a note at the conclusion said that she was included in the section of the Oscars.com site.
Friends and associated of Jones have been campaigning for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to include her in the segment, which began with James Gandolfini.
Others included Karen Black, Tom Laughlin, Carme Zapata, Hal Needham, Paul Walker, Elmore Leonard, Saul Zaentz, Peter O'toole
