
FITCHBURG (CBS) - An Amber Alert issued on Friday night for a six-year-old girl from Massachusetts remained in effect Saturday morning, but the car involved in the Amber Alert had been found.
The girl, Alize Whipple, is described as a black female approximately 3'9" tall, weighing 45 pounds with dark hair. She was last seen on Wednesday in Fitchburg, and was wearing a pink top, pink petite pants and pink sparkly shoes.
State Police say the blue 1996 Buick Century that they were searching for had turned up in Leominster.
Whipple is believed to been abducted by her mother Leeanna Wilson, who does not have custody of the child.
According to police in Kittery, Maine, the two were reported to have been seen on Thursday and Friday at retail establishments in that town.
